Yanga Club is reportedly in the final stages of parting ways with their coach, Miguel Gamondi, and has already begun the process of securing Algerian coach Kheireddine Madoui from CS Constantine, who is also a rival of Simba in this season’s CAF competitions.

Yanga is interested in Madoui, who previously won the CAF Champions League title in the 2013-2014 season with Algeria’s ES Setif and also claimed the CAF Super Cup the following season. The club believes he is the right replacement for Gamondi, especially after Yanga suffered two consecutive losses in the Premier League, with additional internal issues within the club contributing to the decision.

Although the club management has not officially confirmed the split with Gamondi, he has already removed his position as the head coach of Yanga from his social media profiles, including Instagram. Reports suggest that his dismissal is due to various factors, with the team’s poor performance in their last two matches being a key reason for his removal.
