Social media star Mr Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is reportedly in talks to become one of the few owners of TikTok if the platform’s operations in the U.S. are sold.
Sources told TMZ that investor groups interested in acquiring TikTok view MrBeast as a key partner to help grow the platform, given his unparalleled success on social media.
Although discussions are still in the early stages, the deal would involve MrBeast investing in the company and acquiring equity. However, the exact share of ownership remains undisclosed, and no formal agreements have been made yet.

Recently, MrBeast sparked speculation about his involvement when he posted on X, expressing interest in buying TikTok to prevent a potential ban in the U.S. He later revealed that billionaires had reached out to him regarding the platform’s future.
Despite ongoing discussions, TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, has not committed to selling the platform’s U.S. operations, even as the deadline for a sale approaches within the coming weeks. The platform, with over 170 million U.S. users, faces a potential ban due to national security concerns unless a resolution is reached.
