Cardi B responded to Elon Musk after he called her a “puppet” following Kamala Harris’s rally in Milwaukee. Taking to X, Cardi said, “I’m not under anyone, Elon. I’m the child of immigrant parents who worked really hard to raise me!”

The 32-year-old artist explained that she comes from a low-income family and grew up in tough conditions, relying on public assistance like Section 8 housing. She added, “You don’t know anything about the struggles of poor Americans.”

Musk, 53, posted a video on X showing Cardi stumbling with her speech after the teleprompter malfunctioned, claiming that Harris’s campaign lacked “authenticity or real compassion.”

In her response, Cardi admitted she was “a little nervous” after being unable to read her speech. Cardi is one of the celebrities supporting Kamala Harris in the upcoming election against Donald Trump.

Other stars like Eminem, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé have also publicly voiced their support for Harris, encouraging people to vote.
